Elen Eunbit Ko is a Violist from South Korea. An alumni of Ewha Womans University and HMTM Munich, she is currently in her Konzertexamen studies with Prof. Andra Darzins at the HMDK State University for Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart.
She won competition in Poland “OPUS 2021” 1st prize and she gets 1st prize at Jugendmusiziert The Music Competition, 1st prize International Youth Musician Exchange Competition. She won the International Competition in Brescia, Italy, after which she performed as a soloist with the Master Orchestra.
As an enthusiastic chamber musician, Ms. Ko has played with Hariolf Schlichtig, Nils Mönkemeyer and Leonel Morales. And appears in many venues around Germany.
Elen is also a dedicated orchestral player. Working at the Münchner Symphoniker, Philharmonisches Orchester Freiburg, Neue Philharmonie and Jungen Deutschen Philharmonie.
She plays “Michele Deconetti, Venice 1720” and received a grant from the State Collection of String Instruments Foundation in Baden-Württemberg.
